This is a scene from The Amazing Spiderman where the head of Oscorp Industries gets fired from his position. He led the company to great success and shared the company's ownership among the board members. Unknown to him, they quietly sign away his company to the competitor since they offered a deal which the board couldn't reject. They were taking over Oscorp but needed Norman out. During this board meeting, Norman is happy to share how successful the company was now. After hearing him out, the board members reveal what they had done and expected him to leave office in a month. Norman goes through every emotion possible before coming to terms.


Thus, the Green Goblin was born. The premise of his origin is outstanding! What I love about this scene is the masterclass acting by Willem Dafoe. He goes ballistic at the board members for deceiving him and ejecting him out of his own company which he had built since years. Personally, I think he was a fitting cast for the role. He owned the role and made this segment the most memorable one for all times. Enjoy!
