Punch is 1 year old today!

Punch the monkey is an year old. Today is his very first birthday! A year ago on July 26th, 2025, he was born. As soon as he was born, his mother abandoned him due to complications from birthing him. She never took him back and they shifted his location since she was aggressively rejecting him. Integrating him into a new troop was extremely challenging because they didn't like him. Till the zoo could find a new troop, Punch-kun had to endure unimaginable horrors of bullying for his tiny age. He was the youngest and tiniest baby in the enclosure. They gifted him an orange Orangutan plush toy which comforted him for a really long time. Today, the baby is in a new troop that has accepted him and he is celebrating his first birthday in peace. Little baby is a fighter who fought all the odds and depression. Wishing Punch a very deserved happy birthday and many more birthdays to come. Love you, little one. Punch's 1st birthday overwhelms the zoo with wishes. Punch the monkey is celebrating his first birthday today! The zoo is deluged with birthday cards and post-it notes from his fans all over the world. There is no more space it looks like! Everywhere in the zoo, the entire sight is wishing Punch-kun a happy first birthday! The tiny macaque was born today last year and the world has changed for the best because of him.
